"The Anglo-Australian Observatory: Today, and into the Future"
Abstract:

Over the past 30 years, the AAO has established an enviable reputation for scientific achievement and innovation, whilst serving the needs of the Australian and UK astronomical communities. While the UK's entry into ESO will mean some changes in the way the AAO operates, we are far from closing up shop! In this talk, I shall outline the current and future instrumentation suite for the AAT and UKST, highlight some recent science results, and demonstrate some of the AAO's clever ideas for instrumentation in the era of ELTs.
