This picture was produced for a press release by Jerry Orosz and Erik Kuulkers which you can read here, based on system parameters which they measured. I cheated a bit by blurring the edge of the disc with the Gimp. Eventually I hope the code will produce these kinds of fuzzy discs automatically.
