Ernest Rutherford Fellowships

The Southampton astronomy group is seeking applications from candidates intending to apply for STFC Ernest Rutherford Fellowships in the 2022 applications round.

The group can only support a strictly limited number of candidates, and so an internal selection process will be carried out prior to the anticipated closing date 13 September (pending confirmation).

The timetable for this process is:

• Applications to the department must be received by 4pm on Friday 29th July 2022. These applications should include:
  • Draft 4-page Case for Support (as specified by STFC)
  • STFC-style CV.
  • written permission for us to store and distribute your data electronically for the purposes of the selection process.
• Applicants will be informed of the results of the internal selection process by Monday 15th August 2022.
• Individual applications to STFC by 13 September 2022 .
