Addressing Under-Representation
Some of the 10 places are reserved for students from under-represented groups and/or those students who have no travel funds available through their supervisory team. These students will pay no fee, subject to a decision by the organisers and available (limited) funds. If you feel that this applies to you and wish to apply for the reduced fee, please email the course organiser Dr Imogen Gingell (i.l.gingell@soton.ac.uk) by 28th June 2026, explaining your relevant circumstances in the body of the email. The local organising committee (LOC) will make decisions in light of context provided by the Royal Astronomical Society's Demographic Survey 2023 and/or financial need as explained by the applicant.
